About
Cabbage is a hardy, versatile vegetable with lots of flavor, which varies greatly depending on how you cook it.
Storage
Cabbage will keep for up to two weeks in an unsealed bag in the fridge. Or make sauerkraut! (recipe below)
Cooking
Cabbage is delicious raw or cooked, depending on how you like the flavor, shape, and crunch. Cook it for a long time to soften it, or just barely (or not at all) if you like it crunchy. You can use a grater to shred it finely, then hide it in all manner of recipes. I like to do this for extra flavor and texture.
Recipes
- Shred it finely and put it on salads
- Egg Roll in a Bowl
- Pad Thai
- Teriyaki
- Make sauerkraut! (then put it in this unbelievably delicious vegan mac and cheese!)
