About
Lemon balm is a leafy herb that tastes and smells like lemons! It’s related to mint, so smell your herb to be sure about what you have.
Storage
Keep lemon balm in the fridge in a glass of water, like cut flowers.
Or, hang it upside down in a place with good air flow. When it’s dry, remove and crush the leaves and store in an airtight container indefinitely.
Cooking with Lemon Balm
Lemon balm is delicious fresh, so just chop it up and add it to any dish you want to have a lemony flavor. It’s great on salads, meat, fish, and any veggie that goes well with lemon. You could make pesto with it too, for a lemony sauce or dip!
