Beet Hummus

Beet Hummus

from Mustard Seed Community Farm

Delicious with chips, other veggies, and on sandwiches.


1 Tablespoon oil (any)
3 Tablespoons lemon juice
½ teaspoon salt
2 medium beets
3 Tablespoons sesame seeds
1 clove garlic
2 teaspoons cumin


Boil beets until soft, ~20min. Allow to cool and remove skin – this should be easy to do with your hands. Roughly chop and place in food processor with remaining ingredients. Blend until smooth and fluffy.
